There are some natural shade trees and shade tents with tables and benches, but parasols and hats are recommended if you have a sensitivity to the sun. You may bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating.

Prepare for lots of eating, shopping and walking! For your comfort, we highly recommend that you:
- Wear comfortable shoes. You will be walking on asphalt, dirt, and grass. There may be some uneven ground, particularly in the parking lots.
- Dress in layers. Mornings could be foggy; afternoons are usually sunny and warm to hot temperatures.
- Bring sun protection. We have lots of sunshine in Pittsburg, so bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
- Shirt and shoes are required at all times.
- Bring a chair or blanket to sit on as our main stage, Pirates cove, is open seating on the lawn

Is there seating at the festival?
An important question. There are a variety of options that you have. In John Buckley square there are concrete formations that provide some seating, but if you want a great seat for the music at the Pirates Cove stage, you will want to bring a blanket or lawn chair. There will be tables and chairs a various locations at the festival for eating. For those that upgraded to the VIP experience, some seating and chairs will be available, they are on a first come, first serve basis.
